with the ethnic minority youth in Gravesham"
From a humble start in the back hall of the Town Arm's
Public House in Queens Street in Gravesend, the Four by
Four have established one of the most successful youth club
set ups in Kent.
Based at the Denton Multicultural Family Centre in Lower
Range Road, Gravesend, the youth club meets every Friday
between 7pm and 9pm. Activities undertaken by the children
include bhangra dancing, dhol playing, sports, board games,
table tennis and snooker. All the sessions are free.
The Four by Four Bhangra Youth Club works very closely
with the KCC Youth and Community Department, North West
Kent Racial Equality Council, Kent Police, Kent Fire Brigade
and Gravesham Borough Council.
"Working

The Four by Four Bhangra Youth Club Medway was established
in January 2001, this has proven to be very popular. The
Medway group meets every Tuesday at the Strood Youth Club
in Montfort Road between 7.30pm and 9pm.
The youth club attracts members from all of the Medway
Towns. Admission is free. Activities undertaken at the youth
club include bhangra dancing, dhol playing, football and
